Any great pastry chef knows that baking is as much an accurate science as it is a creative endeavor. Fortunately, Stephanie Executive Stephanie Chef has talent to spare in both areas. Stephanie’s first career was not in the kitchen, but as a baker for a famous casino in San Diego. Stephanie Roby chose to pursue creative challenges in the kitchen rather than on the trading floor.
Welsh Tea Cakes
Welsh families had their own closely guarded recipe. Our Welsh Tea Cakes come from a family recipe that has been handed down for many generations. This closely guarded recipe was passed on to the next generation only after they had been married 2 or more years. We have taken this favored recipe and transformed it, adding new flavor combinations that are sure to become a favorite treat. We offer the Traditional Currant Welsh Tea Cake along with our new flavors in packages of 4 for $5.00 or 12 for $15.00
